An exciting revelation at one exhibition, was seeing that the viewer was reflected into the work — an idea that would inspire my future more narrative work.

These works continued my investigation of imaging natural phenomena. I was not interested in a direct simulation rather an interpretive or expressive programmatic image.

Behind the Art

The work was created using a Tektronix color computer, then transferred onto large photographic transparencies (6’ x 4’). Photographic transparency is a type of film that is used to produce transparencies instead of negatives or prints.
